Description

Summary:

Provide customer service to guests through well-maintained machines, accurate jackpot payoffs and floor fills, and the promotion of special events such as video poker and slot tournaments as well as property wide programs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to guest complaints with empathy.
  • Develop customer loyalty by consistently greeting known players.
  • Monitor the slot floor to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Assist guests with the operation of ticket redemption machines.
  • Comply with Nevada gaming regulations and slot department procedures.
  • Verifies jackpots and floor fills.
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic data entry/computer skills.
  • Previous money handling experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Player Development applications and slot systems, preferably Bally SDS and CMP.
  • Knowledge of Title 31 regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Primary language spoken and written is English.
  • Good verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from slot change persons or booth cashiers, other departments, and customers.
  • Ability to explain and calculate machine wins to players by reading awards glass pay tables.
  • Ability to reset machine tilts by following on screen prompts. Possess' knowledge of minor slot machine repairs.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.

  • Frequently required to walk, stand or sit for long periods.
  • Use hands to hold tools and/or equipment required for position.
  • Reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment Conditions

The work environment is characterized as a casino setting requiring multi-tasking, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as a part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud requiring service to guests who may be smoking and/or drinking alcohol. The work environment is a smoking environment in the building as well as occasional work outdoors as needed. Work schedule varies including weekends, holidays and special events.
