JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures.
* To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties
* Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis includingbefore, during and after shift.
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment
* Maintain and organized bar
* Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services.
* Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner. Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service. Ability to have and make conversation
* Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care.
* Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests
* Perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaning
* Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks
* Maintain and organize bars and storerooms
* Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
* Ability to operate a glassware washing machine
* Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines
* Knowledge of product
* Ability to operate a glassware washer
* Answering phones
* Maintain proper inventory of product
* Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times
* All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others.
